House of the Black Madonna Prague Cubist Architecture
I am surprised by cubist architecture: it is like stepping through the looking glass, where although it is odd, it makes sense and does not seem as strange as you thought it would be. The House of the Black Madonna (in Prague) is so innocent from the outside, it is only when you enter the front hall that you are greeted by the bent balustrade of the main stair. Then, following that upward, the cafe which is adorned with cubist features: coathooks, light fittings, and furniture.
